The Rio is the multicolored glass covered hotel off the west side of the Strip. The hotel is setup nicely and has a casino, great entertainment, and plenty of food. One of my favorite buffets is the Carnival World buffet at the Rio. It is large and is known for having crab legs and a gelato bar. The only bad part of the Rio is that it is located off the West side of the Strip. There are free shuttles running to Bally’s and Harrah’s until 12 or 1 AM depending on the day of the week and time of year, so utilize those to save some money.

Rio’s casino is very large, but the table limits are high because they know it’s hard for you to leave. The World Series of Poker is held at the Rio every year in June and July so stop by to see your favorite poker players.
