Monte Carlo

The Monte Carlo is a cheaper hotel located between New York-New York and City Center. The hotel is designed well and offers easy access to the Strip. You literally walk out the door of the casino and you are on the Strip. The hotel rooms are generic, but they are larger than a typical budget room, so your stay will still be enjoyable.  The hotel rooms have been modernized recently so they are simple and nice.

The hotel has gotten a nice upgrade since City Center was built.  There is an indoor walkway to Aria and a Tram that will take you to Crystals and Bellagio, which is a good way to stay out of the elements.  There is a food court for people who want to save money, and The Pub is a good place to watch sports.  I would say their food is pretty average though.

The casino at the Monte Carlo is a typical Veags casino. They do offer craps lessons Monday, Tuesday, and Friday at 11 AM. The Monte Carlo also has a poker room but you will only see a few tables of action and most of them will be locals.
