Caesars Palace is holding a sale. For the most part, the further ahead in advance you book, the more money you save. The best rates of course are in November and December of 2014 at 30% off but you can get 20% and 25% off at other times. To book check out Caesar’s website. Each time frame has their own promotional code, which you can find in the link above.
Palms is offering 50% off their normal rates. There is no date listed to book by, so if you find rates that work for you book them as soon as possible. The lowest rates I saw were $52, which does not include the $20 per day resort fee. To book, head over to the Palms website.
If you are looking for a hotel that is cheap the majority of the time then this deal is for you. Excalibur rooms are your standard Super 8 quality but for $29 a night who can complain. A lot of weeknights are hovering around that $30 mark. To book head over to Excalibur’s website.
The Mirage is advertising rates as low as $60 per night, plus a $75 food and beverage credit if you travel between now and April 3, 2013. $60 is pretty cheap for the Mirage, but as usual only a few nights offer the lowest rates. The $75 food and beverage credit needs to be charged to the room. So I would assume anything you can charge to the room would apply as long as it is food or drink but you might want to make sure at check in. Mlife has plenty of restaurants to choose from so I’m sure you will use it.
To book head over to The Mirage’s website. You will see a “Promotion” on the right side that mentions the $75 food and beverage credit. Click that and the available dates will be shown to you.

Hotels.com is offering up to 30% off Las Vegas hotel rooms. Harrah’s offers the best bang for your buck with rates starting as $35. Harrah’s rooms are very nice for the price and I would easily rate them above Flamingo which has rates starting at $55. Other cheap rates are Caesars Palace for $109 and Excalibur for $32 a night. The only bad news is that you must travel by December 10, 2012.
Go to hotels.com and you will automatically be on the Las Vegas deals page. They have a lot of sample hotel rates listed but you can also search for a specific date range.

Mandalay Bay has an ongoing promotion where they will give you $10 for free if you give as long as you gamble with it and risk $20 of your own hard earned cash! Plus they give you”win cards” to teach you best strategy. Win cards are essentially sliders that help you figure out what to bet for certain table games and what your odds are for each one. The cards aren’t all that great, but if you would like help when to hit or double down in blackjack you may find them useful. The best part is, every six months you can sign up for new win cards at the Mlife desk and if you pay the cashier $20 they will give you $30 in special chips.
You can take these chips to roulette, blackjack, or craps. The best thing to do is probably put the whole $30 on red and be done with it. Unfortunately if you win they pay you $30 in real chips and make you keep the $30 in fake chips, which you cannot cash in. That is what I ended up doing, hit red the first time, and lost my chips on black the next spin, so I walked away $10 up. Another great part is that to promote good tipping they give you a piece of paper that lets $1 ride along with your bet so if you win the dealer wins.
The process does take some time, but the Mlife desk at Mandalay Bay is rarely busy so you can usually do it in 10 minutes with minimal waiting in line. First have your ID and Mlife card ready and ask for the “win cards” promotion. They will fill out a piece of paper and give it to you. You take that paper to the cashier with your ID and Mlife card again. There they will give you your special chips for $20, which you can take immediately to the tables.
Treasure Island has been advertising on Facebook and their website about BOGO rates. I was having trouble having the prices reflect, but assuming that they do during your stay this is a great deal. To claim the deal you just need to go to Treasure Islands Facebook page or use this link. This deal is good through August 2013 and has a 3-night minimum stay for Thursday arrivals and a 3-night maximum stay for Wednesday arrivals. The free night(s) is only good for the room rate, which means you need to cough up the $25 resort fee even on free nights.
Use this link, which will take you directly to Treasure Island’s website. Scroll down to the BOGO offer and click “Book Now” or call them directly. Make sure to use the promotional code MBBOGO.
On my trip to Vegas this past weekend I was able to check out The Venetian’s new poker room. It is as big as advertised, but pretty empty. There were maybe 10 tables running, but to be fair all of the poker rooms were pretty dead this trip. I found some action at a 1 2 NL table, but everyone was pretty tight. I was able to get 4 drinks in about 2 hours of play so I would say the service was a little slow.
The best part about the poker room is its “happy hour” times Sunday through Thursday 10-11 AM and 5-6 PM. For these two hours the play is rake free. This basically increases your winning pot by about $5 (at the cheap tables). Considering how many hands you might win that isn’t a lot of money but at least it is a little extra dough going your way. For their latest promotions check out their website.
Orbitz is having an “Insider Steal” deal that gets you 30% off. That starts rates out at $28.57 a night. I checked some Sunday through Wednesday rates for two weeks in November(starting 18th and 25th) and all of the nights were $28.57. It is really annoying to search on their website because there is no calendar rate search. Overall this is a pretty good deal and I would say this is pretty close to the cheapest Luxor ever gets.
Use this link to Save 30% at Luxor Hotel. This will take you directly to Orbitz’s website. From there click the pink “Choose Dates” button to pick your days. The cheapest rates are Sunday through Thursday. You will know that the dates are acceptable for the promotion because after you search specific dates the discount will reflect in the order summary on the right hand side by saying “Sale – 30% ” in green. To restart your search it is just easier to use the link on this page because if you click “go back to search” results all hotels show up and I do not think the deal applies.
